With the holidays are just around the corner, I'm dreading all the run of the mill holiday music BUT I just discovered Matthew Knowles'record label's release: The Pastor Rudy Experience Volume I: Touch. This is an album I'd rather break out my dance moves to. This Christmas Gospel Music is the new Pop!

Who is Dito Montiel? He was the lead singer of the circa 90s band, Gutterboys . . . which unfortunately for Dito most of the world has not heard of. Still, why would this name come up in 2006? Fortunately for him, movie goers defintely outnumber music geeks and Dito's Indie film A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints has made a bleep on most people's radars. The flick has gotten glowing reviews with the help of Robert Downey Jr and Chazz Palminteri. Although Dito has finally accomplished himself as a cretive with this film, it seems he cannot let go of his love for music and has used the soundtrack as a vehicle for his solo debut.
